Fly with us to Neverland!
adapted for the stage by Meredith Zwicker
26 + 27 May 2017
J.M Barrie's classic tale of imagination and wonder comes to life on the STC stage! This fantastical story follows the Darling children and their adventures with Peter Pan, the "boy who won't grow up" and his pixie friend Tinkerbell. After flying to Neverland, the children befriend Peter's troupe of Lost Boys, and tangle with Captian Hook and his band pirates.
The Students On Stage program engages students aged 10 to 17 in the process of creating a major theatreical production, culminating in a series of performances for parents and the community. Participants develop their performance abilities in acting, voice and movement, and learn about the creation of props, sets, and costumes. This production will feature 30 students actors from the Greater Sudbury area - maybe one or two from your school!
Recent productions include The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Last season's production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe played to sold-out audiences all week - book your seats early to avoid disappointment!
