Christy began her career improvising at The Loose Moose Theatre in Calgary where she studied with Keith Johnstone. In 2000, she moved to Toronto and was hired by The Second City. She has been performing with them for over 11 years now doing shows across the county and as far away as Bosnia and Monaco. Select TV credits: Orphan Black, The Odd Squad, The Day the Old Man Knocked, Long Story Short: CBC’s 75 Anniversary, Little Mosque on the Prairie, and Stay with Me. Select theatre credits include: Lucinda in This is Cancer (Halifax), The Forum (Stratford Festival), The Soaps! (Bad Dog Theatre), and Private Lives with Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross (New York). Christy has had the honour to bring Mimi to Calgary, Vancouver, Kamloops, and London England.
Rebecca Northan is an actor, director, improviser, writer, and producer. She created Blind Date in 2010 and it has been touring ever since. Her latest show, Legend Has It, also falls under the banner of Spontaneous Theatre, and invites an audience member on stage to play the Hero in a Fantasy Adventure. Rebecca is also developing new shows with the Stratford Festival of Canada, and Vertigo Theatre in Calgary. When not creating new plays, she can be seen on stages across Canada, as well as in a variety of film and TV projects.

Bruce Horak is originally from Calgary, Alberta where he trained in theatre and Improvisation. He has been a part of the Blind Date team since 2010. He has won numerous awards for his work as an actor, writer, and director. When not creating new works and performing onstage, Bruce devotes his time to painting. He has spent the last two months working as an artist-in-residence in Portland, Oregon where he painted full-time. His works can be seen at www.brucehorak.com .
JESSE LYNN ANDERSON

Jesse Lynn Anderson is an actor, stage manager and painter. She has spent the last several years studying improvisation with Loose Moose Theatre. Acting credits include The Club (Theatre Yes/High Performance Rodeo); The Crucible, The Comedy of Errors (Theatre Calgary); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare Company); The Basement Boys (Theatre BSMT); and $38,000 for a Friendly Face (Rosebud Theatre). Stage Management credits include Truth or Dare (The Duo); KILL HARD, NE: The Show (Bros Before Shows Productions); The Little Prince (RSA); and two years with The Canadian Badlands Passion Play (ASM, Canadian Badlands).
